IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua says he is ready and willing to fight the winner of the upcoming trilogy fight between WBC champion Tyson Fury and challenger Deontay Wilder.

Fury and Wilder are going to collide on a tentative date of December 19, at a location to be determined. There is a realistic possibility that their third bout will get pushed back to next year.

Fury is a heavy favorite to win the fight, after dominating and stopping Wilder in their February rematch at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Their first contest, which took place in December 2018, ended in a controversial twelve round split draw.

Joshua and Fury have already agreed on the financial terms of a 2021 encounter - as long as they both win their planned bouts.

Joshua is going to have a mandatory fight with Kubrat Pulev before the end of the year.

The once-beaten British star is not convinced that Fury or Wilder would be the biggest names on his record or the best fighters that he would encounter in the ring.

He hopes the bout with Fury will happen sooner of later, because he fears 'The Gypsy King' is not that far away from calling it a career. Fury turned pro in 2008.

"Fury has been professional much longer than me. He should be looking to retire soon," Joshua told Sky Sports. "If he wants to cement his legacy, I'm here and ready. I've built myself into this position.

"I'll challenge Fury, I'll challenge Wilder. These guys aren't the biggest names that I've fought on my record anyway. They are just another heavyweight. Look at my record. They are not the best fighters that I have challenged. When they are ready, I'm here to fight."
