Like most of the boxing world, Joseph Parker is very interested in the February 22nd Deontay Wilder-Tyson Fury pay-per-view showdown.  The fight takes place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and is a rematch of their December, 2018 fight that ended in a split draw.

Fury out boxed Wilder for large portions of the fight but the American was able to floor Fury twice including a hellacious shot early in the 12th round that Fury narrowly avoided being counted out.

Adjustments will be made by both fighters but the former WBO heavyweight champion believes that Fury's boxing skills will earn him the victory.

"The first fight was so interesting that everyone is going to be interested in the 2nd fight to see how it unfolds and see who wins. I am leaning towards Tyson. I respect both fighters and have good friendships with both fighters but if I had to pick one it would be Fury," Parker told BoxingScene.com.

Both fighters have won 2 fights since their first encounter.  Fury demolished Tom Schwarz in 2 rounds while Wilder steamrolled Dominic Breazeale in the 1st round of his first fight after the Fury fight.

However, their second fights were a lot different.  Fury suffered a bad cut in a lackluster decision win over Otto Wallin while Wilder was badly out boxed by Luis Ortz for 6 rounds before scoring a knockout victory.

Parker believes that both fighters may have been looking ahead towards their rematch and were not 100% focused on the task at hand.

"That is the thing. Your mind can't control a lot of things that happen in and out of the ring and we just don't know what is in their minds before the fights," said Parker.
