James Perkins and Anthony Andreozzi will square off in an eight-round light heavyweight fight that headlines an “Oceanside Prize Fights” card August 16 at Oceanside Events Center in Revere, Massachusetts.

Presented by Granite Chin Promotions (GCP), the card – staged at the former Wonderland Ballroom and streamed on www.BXNGTV.com – will help raise funds for the Quincy Firefighters Cancer Foundation. The non-profit organization has a mission of providing support to firefighters and their families as they face the challenges of occupational cancer, ensuring that they receive the care, resources and assistance they need.

Perkins, 13-3-1 (9 KOs), is a 32-year-old gravedigger from nearby Lynn, Massachusetts, and is a heavy-handed, aggressive puncher who is willing to trade. Andreozzi, 7-4 (3 KOs), of Swansea, Massachusetts, has a similar seek-and-destroy approach that should help make for an action-forward main event.

In chief support, Shea Willcox, 3-0 (3 KOs), of Everett, Massachusetts, will face Brazil’s Aldimar Silva, 22-28 (14 KOs) in a welterweight four-rounder. Wilcox, a 23-year-old who was named “Most Outstanding Boxer” at last year’s New England Golden Gloves Championships, is one of the most popular fighters in the Northeast.

Additionally, James Perella, 19-0 (13 KOs), from Mansfield, Massachusetts, will meet Saul Corral, 31-24 (20 KOs) in an eight-round junior middleweight bout. Perella, winner of three New England Golden Gloves titles, is a former decorated amateur attempting to climb the ranks at age 33.

Also on the undercard – all in four-rounders – are junior featherweight Jennifer Perella, 2-1 (1 KO), of Hyde Park, Massachusetts, facing Sarah Click, 2-10-1; welterweight Eric Goff, 7-0 (5 KOs), of Springfield, Massachusetts, versus Joe Wilson Jnr, 3-8; junior middleweight Dimas Colon, of Lawrence, Massachusetts, making his pro debut against Javonni Bennett, 0-2; and South Boston cruiserweight Charlie LoGrasso, 1-0 (1 KO) taking on Erick Alves.
