Trainer Jeff Mayweather, uncle of WBA/WBC welterweight and junior middleweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (47-0, 26KOs), says IBF champion Kell Brook has done absolutely nothing to deserve a shot at his nephew.

Last month Brook traveled to California to capture the IBF title from previously undefeated Shawn Porter. Following the match, Brook's promoter Eddie Hearn said his fighter had now become a major player in the division and certainly should be considered in the mix for a shot at Mayweather in 2015.

Jeff was not impressed with the victory over Porter and says Brook is not even a consideration.

"Why? He never done nothing. He squeaked out a decision over Porter and that really hasn’t done much to raise his stock. He just beat a guy and he barely beat him," Jeff told On The Ropes Boxing Radio.
