Renato Inal has lost in his bid to win the vacant WBC International lightweight title, when he suffered a fourth round knockout at the hands of undefeated rising Thai boxer Saddam Kietyongyuth in a fight card staged in Nakhon Chaisiri which is a town located south of Bangkok.
The 21 year old Saddam who was a former Muay Thai star was coming off a unanimous decision victory over Rud 4K Kevkatche in a battle for the vacant WBC Asian Boxing Council super featherweight title last October 15 while Inal, in his last fight, scored a second round TKO over Jerry Sismondo last August 28.
Saddam who improved to 5-0 with 4 knockouts proved too strong for Inal, winning by a KO in 1:52 of the fourth round. Inal, the former Philippine super featherweight champion lost his title to Bobby Pacquiao, the current Orient Pacific Boxing Federation No. 1 contender
