Veteran rapper/actor Ice Cube has announced he is willing to move his basketball tournament out of Las Vegas' T-Mobile Arena to make way for the recently announced boxing match between UFC superstar Conor McGregor and five division world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. - if the price is right.

It was revealed over the weekend that the boxing bout's scheduled date of August 26th, at the newly built arena, was already occupied by Ice Cube's BIG3 event and though it was originally thought they had no intention to move venues, the rapper confirmed in a new interview that discussions are underway.

Mayweather-McGregor, which is being distributed on Showtime Pay-Per-View, was finalized last Wednesday.

Speaking on US sports talk show, Skip & Shannon: Undisputed (via TMZ), Cube said "of course" he would move the BIG3 tournament out of T-Mobile Arena if he's properly compensated by MGM [who also own T-Mobile].

He believes a deal will be reached to move away from the venue.

"If they do what they're supposed to do and make us happy, yeah, we'll move." he said. "We're talking about it. I think we gonna get there."

It has been reported that the BIG3 tournament could move over down the street, to the MGM Grand Garden Arena, while the McGregor/Mayweather showdown will take place at the T-Mobile Arena as planned.
