Two time former champion Hugo "Incredible" Cazares is eager to face Nicaraguan opponent Daniel Diaz in a super bantamweight clash on August 11 in Tamaulipas, Mexico.
Cazares had fought as low as 108-pounds, where he captured the WBO title and lost two close decision to Puerto Rican icon Ivan Calderon. He later moved up and catured the WBA title at super flyweight. Now he is fighting at 122-pounds and feels more powerful than ever.
"I will rip the head off my opponent, I feel very strong in the super bantamweight division," said Cazares.
Cazares is training in Los Mochis under the watchful eye of Don Manuel "Kochul" Montiel.
"The injury in my elbow is gone, I'm in great physical shape to secure another win and to move forward with capturing my third world title," Cazares said.
Cazares (36-7-2, 26 KOs) vs. Diaz (19-3-1, 14 KOs) is promoted by Canelo Promotions, Kochul Productions, Televisa and Grupo Modelo.
