WBA, WBC, WBO, IBF and IBO female welterweight champion Cecilia Braekhus (27-0) returns to action on February 27 as part of the undercard to the fourth cruiserweight showdown between IBO champion Ola Afolabi and former WBO king Marco Huck. The event takes place in Halle / Westfalen.
Braekhus has been out of the ring for 14 months due to injuries and is now her own with First Lady Promotion. Opponent in Halle is Chris Namus (21-3) from Uruguay.
She was last in action on November 29 of 2014 and won a ten round unanimous decision over Jennifer Retzke.
Also on the bill is German middleweight titleholder Dominik Britsch (31-2-1), who saw action in December with a ten round unanimous decision over Alois Schwartz.
Britsch, like Braekhus, was formerly with Team Sauerland.
