WBA heavyweight champion David Haye (25-1, 23 KOs) told his good friend, Amir Khan, that a July unification with IBO/IBF/WBO champion Wladimir Klitschko (55-3, 49KOs) - "is looking very good." Haye used his Twitter account to send the positive message to Khan, who is currently training for his April fight with Paul McCloskey at the Wild Card Gym in Los Angeles. Haye is in London trying to finalize a deal to face Klitschko.

"No, [I'm] not in Miami anymore, as [I] need to be in sunny London to get [the] next fight signed. Things [are] looking very good for Klitschko in July," Haye wrote to Khan.

Haye would later write that there are no plans to fight prior to July, and his next fight would come in September/October. Haye wants to retire from boxing in October.

"I will be fighting in July, not before, and then in September/October for my final contest," Haye wrote.
