Talented German super middleweight prospect Stefan Haertel (6-0) is back home after three weeks of sparring with George Groves in Big Bear, California.
Groves is preparing for his upcoming fight with WBC super middleweight champion Badou Jack - and that fight takes place on the Floyd Mayweather vs. Andre Berto Showtime Pay-Per-View undercard on September 12th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Haertel will now continue gaining more experience and knowledge by continuing his preparations in Schwerin with WBA regular light heavyweight champ Juergen Braehmer and teammates Tyron Zeuge and Enrico Koelling - all trained by Karsten Rover. Braehmer is back on September 5th against Konni Konrad, and Zeuge on September 26th.
Next up for Haertel is a fight against Croatian Ivan Jukic (21-5) on the undercard to Braehmer's next defense in Dresden.
