On March 20th, welterweight contender Alfonso Gomez (25-6-2, 12KOs) defeated the game Yoshihiro Kamegai over ten rounds and his management has already gotten the 34-year old veteran his next assignment.
"I'm putting Alfonso right back in on May 16th on the undercard of (Gennady)Golovkin," said Gary Gittlesohn.
This show will take place at the Forum in Inglewood, California and features Golovkin's defense of his WBA/IBO middleweight titles versus Willie Monroe Jr."
Gittlesohn added - "HBO Latino is going to televise it and there are a couple of opponents we are looking at."
