WBA/WBC welterweight champion Keith Thurman (28-0, 22 KOs) is hoping to move forward with more unification fights.

Last month at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York - Thurman won a hard-fought twelve round split decision over Danny Garcia to unify the WBC, WBA world titles.

The other two champions in his division include IBF champion Kell Brook of the UK and WBO champion Manny Pacquiao of the Philippines.

Brook is scheduled to make a mandatory defense against unbeaten Errol Spence on May 27 in Sheffield, and Pacquiao is going to defend his belt against 2012 Australian Olympian Jeff Horn on July 2nd in Brisbane.

Last month, BoxingScene.com's Steve Kim spoke to Roach about the possibility of facing Thurman. Roach was very much in favor of taking that fight - and predicted an "easy" win for his man.

Abel Sanchez, the head trainer for IBO, IBF, WBA, WBC middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin, agrees with Roach's position on Pacquiao easily defeating Thurman.

"I would love to see the rematch between Keith Thurman and Danny Garcia, but yeah I think that Manny would beat Keith Thurman easily. I think that’s a good fight because it’s a top welterweight and it’s the kind of fight that Manny should be having if he’s going to stay in the game," Sanchez told On The Ropes Boxing Radio.

Pacquiao is getting up there in age, now 38-years-old, and the end appears to be a year or two away. But Sanchez believes the eight division world champion has a few more solid performances in his tank.

"I think he’s got a couple of good fights left. He’s been very physically fit, strong and fast in his last couple of fights. I think the Vargas fight showed that Manny can still box, move and punch. He’s still in the game. I don’t think being above welterweight would be the best thing for him, but welterweight or even junior welterweight would probably be best. I think he can still do well in a couple more fights," Sanchez said.
