North Bergen, NJ - Not many people are giving Krzysztof Glowacki a chance when he takes on Marco Huck (38-2-1, 26 KO’s) tonight as part of the Premier Boxing Champions on Spike TV card. A relative unknown to most U.S. fight fans, he sports an undefeated record but not many on his resume are known either. So the fighter understands his underdog role.

“He should be favored,” Glowacki told BoxingScene.com through his translator. “He’s a world champion so it’d be weird if he isn’t. But honestly I’m excited to be on a big card in front of a lot of fans so maybe you can see me very often here.”

When asked about a much unknown resume, Glowacki feels he just needed an opportunity and says this Friday is his chance.

“If I would have fought a world champion, I’d already be world champion,” Glowacki said. “I can only fight who’s in front of me. So fighting Huck now it’s the clarification I needed. We’re going to see what I’m made of on Friday.”

Though he may be the underdog, Glowacki hopes he can channel his inner Tomasz Adamek who was a fan favorite at the Prudential Center in Newark with a large flock of Polish fans waving the red and white flag.

“I really can hear their screams. I love that, it motivates me,” Glowacki said. “I watched all of his (Adamek) fights live not in Prudential Center but seeing him live early in the morning in Poland. I hope he can support me like I supported him and hope the crowd supports me like they supported him. I want to show people how tough I am. I hope it’s an exciting fight and I hope to win it in exciting fashion.”
