Miami, FL: Former WBO Miniflyweight World champion Alex “El Nene” Sanchez has a new opponent for his comeback fight of Friday, December 9 at the Kissimmee Civic Center, after his original opponent, former WBC world champion Eric Ortiz got injured during training.

The charismatic little giant “El Nene” (31-7-1-21 KO’s) of Ponce, Puerto Rico now faces former world title challenger Glenn “Boyet” Donaire (17-4-1-9 KO’s) of General Santos, Philippines, older brother of the “Filipino Flash” and boxing superstar Nonito Donaire. The bout is schedule for 12 Rounds with the WBC Latin Flyweight Title at stake.

“Both fighters are making a comeback and are hungry for another shot at a world title, it has the makings of a great fight, it is now or never for both” declared Promoter Zabala.

First bell at 8:30 PM, 7 mores fights round up the card.
