George Groves & James Degale are both ready for their "grudge" British & Commonwealth Super Middleweight Clash. The fight takes place at the O2 Arena in London on Saturday night.
Groves said "I am feeling really good, as ready as I have ever been". In what promises to be one of the most anticipated domestic grudge match ups in recent years, Groves further stated "I mean business, he is definitely not as ready as I am and he is getting taken out".
On being pressed on a prediction for the fight "I have stated all along I am going to win this fight and that's exactly what is going to happen, if James is saying the fight is only going to last 4 rounds then fair enough, that's when I will take him out".
Adam Booth who is George Groves manager and trainer went straight to the point "George is the most competitive and tenacious fighter I have ever met. If you are a George Groves fan just simply sit back and enjoy the fight".
On being asked about the dislike the fighters have for each other Booth stated "As soon as the first bell goes none of that matters, as it will only be the 2 of them fighting, all the pre fight hype will be forgotten and it will be down to business, and I will say again if you are a George Groves fan just sit back and enjoy the fight".
