WBC/WBA junior welterweight champion Danny Garcia (26-0, 16KOs), and his father/trainer Angel Garcia, are not worried about the punching-power of Lucas Matthysse (34-2, 32KOs). Garcia will defend his title sagainst Matthysse on September 14th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Their title fight will be the Showtime pay-per-view co-feature to the Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Saul Alvarez main event.

"[Lamont] Peterson went in there and he had lost to himself before he got in there. He looked worried about getting hit because people probably put sh*t in his head. Sometimes its takes one person to say some dumb sh*t to a fighter in the back of the locker room and the switch just shuts off. He wasn't scared, just worried. [Matthysse] is just an average guy," Garcia told BoxingScene.com.

"Matthysse is a regular man to me. He don't put any fear in my heart. He don't put any fear in Danny's heart. Some trainers forget about their own fighter and worry about the other guy. I don't care what they do over there, my job is to worry about Danny. Danny is going to leave the ring on September 14th as the undefeated champion."
