Ganoy who is a power puncher hammered Onikeke into submission in the 7th round forcing referee Chris Anderson to call a halt at 1:23 of the round of a fight card at the Sports Stadium in Melbourne, Australia.

Ganoy who is trained by Hermie and Jeffrey Bohol and managed by Dido Bohol, all Filipinos who live in Australia, was coming off a second round KO over Ty Allen last August 25 after earlier scoring a fourth round TKO over Matthew Paulley. The 26 year old Ganoy is 20-10-2 with 17 crushing knockouts.

Onikeke is a 23 year old fighter who was coming off a second round over Nori Iwatani, the Japanese fighter who lives in Cebu City and trains at the famed ALA Gym of respected boxing patron Tony Aldeguer. The win over Iwatani was Onikek’s third successive KO win within a total of six rounds.
