WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has revealed that he spoke to Deontay Wilder on FaceTime, in the aftermath of their February rematch.

Fury, who fought Wilder to a controversial draw in December 2018, scored two knockdowns and eventually stopped Wilder in the seventh round of their second clash, which took place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Wilder exercised an immediate rematch clause, with a third fight targeted for the month of December.

Since suffering the first loss of his career, very little has been heard from Wilder. The once-beaten boxer has more or less remained quiet and kept his distance from any media.

According to Fury, he had a FaceTime coversation with Wilder back in March - and called him a "dosser." He says Wilder ignored all future attempts at communication.

“I’ve not heard a thing. He took a FaceTime from me in March. I called him a bit of a big dosser and then he didn’t answer the phone to me ever again," Fury told Talk Sport.

As previously reported, Fury wants to fight sooner than later.

Initially, the trilogy was scheduled to land in July. The coronavirus pandemic has continuously pushed back the date - and there is the possibility of the third bout being kicked over to 2021, which is something Fury wants to avoid.

“I’m supposed to be boxing on December 19 in Las Vegas against Deontay Wilder in the trilogy, but every two days I hear a different story; they’re trying to bring it forward a week or put it back a week, whatever. The one thing I want to announce to the world is I will be fighting in December, whether it’s Wilder in Las Vegas, or if it’s Joe Bloggs in England," Fury said.

“I want to fight now! I’m ready to go today, tomorrow, next week or the next couple of months. I made it very clear that if we can’t fight in America I want to come back to the UK and do a homecoming.”
