According to heavyweight contender Tyson Fury, he is fully focused on his upcoming debut in the WWE ring - and not on a potential rematch with WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder, which is tipped to take place on a date in February.

Fury is going to take part in a pro wrestling match on October 31, when he takes on WWE superstar Braun Strowman in Saudi Arabia. The bout will be part of WWE's Crown Jewel event.

Last month, Fury overcame a severe cut on his right eye to win a twelve round decision over Otto Wallin.

Wilder is first going to make a voluntary defense of his world title on November 23, when he faces Luis Ortiz at MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Fury and Strowman have taken part in several televised angles to build up their upcoming bout.

On Monday night's WWE Raw, Fury and Strowman signed the contracts for their bout.

While the rematch with Wilder is huge, Fury is not thinking about that at the moment - as he trains for his WWE in-ring debut.

"I’ve been training at the WWE facility in Orlando. I was supposed to be resting while the eye mended but I’m excited about 385-pounds of Braun coming at me," Fury said to Daily Mail.

"Yeah, me against Wilder is the biggest fight in boxing but I’m not thinking about that now. I’m just enjoying my life and concentrating on WWE."

Frank Warren, Fury’s promoter, is very concerned with his boxer's run in the WWE. He fears that he might re-injure the eye or suffer another ailment, which in turn would push back the tentative rematch date with Wilder.

"I’m not in favor of this and it does put the Wilder fight in jeopardy. But he’s a grown man who makes his own decisions. I hope it’s more a show than a fight," Warren said.
