UK fan favorites, Tyson Fury and Matthew Macklin, gave their predictions on the heavyweight unification between David Haye and Wladimir Klitschko, which happens on July 2 in Hamburg, Germany. Macklin challenges Felix Sturm for the WBA middleweight crown on Saturday night in Germany. Fury faces Dereck Chisora for the British heavyweight title on July 23 at Wembley.

Macklin is picking Haye, by knockout, in six rounds. He feels the British champion's advantage in speed will be the difference in the fight and once Haye lands a big power shot - Macklin predicts an early night for Klitschko.

"Haye will stop him inside six rounds. I think it will be cagey for the first couple of rounds but I expect Haye to be too quick and when he lands it will be all over," Macklin said.

Fury is backing Klitschko all the way. If Klitschko decides to pursue a knockout, then Fury expects him to deliver. If Klitschko decides to box, then Fury expects an easy decision win. Either way, Fury believes a Klitschko victory is the only possible outcome.

"My personal opinion of the fight is that I think Klitschko has been there and done that. He's fought a lot of people like David Haye, around the 6'2, 6'3 mark who punch hard, fast people like Eddie Chambers, and I think that Klitschko will deal with him quite easily," Fury said in a Betfair interview.

"It does depend on which Klitschko turns up for the fight. If it's the negative one, who wants to win on points, then he'll win on points, but if he goes out and looks for the knockout then he'll probably win by a knockout. Either way I can't see it being anything but a win for Klitschko."
