Carl Froch has yet to meet a microphone that he didn’t like, Froch, 32, has thrown yet more vociferous verbiage in the direction of next month’s Super Six opponent Mikkel Kessler and former undisputed boss Joe Calzaghe.  Froch, 26-0 (20), has long believed that Joe ducked him and feels that Kessler, who was lost to Andre Ward in November, won’t be able to dodge his right hand come fight night.

“He hasn't got a chance against me,” said Froch when chatting with BBC Sport.  “It makes for a humdinger.  Kessler is going to be knocked out for the first time in his career, unless he's a lot tougher than I already think he is.”

“Kessler's a great fighter, don't get me wrong, he's got a lot of things going for him, a lot of experience and he's strong and tough and knows how to box.  He's a proud warrior but he's not had the best preparation for fighting me - Kessler's coming in off the back of a warm-up fight and a bad loss - so all you can do is wish him lucky really,” continued Froch.

Froch, though, still dreams of Joe Calzaghe; the two men have been waging a war of words for years, each proving the other’s favourite subject.  Carl believes that Joe, rumoured to be advising former opponent Kessler ahead of this fight, is trying to remain in the limelight by throwing out Carl’s name.

“Now Calzaghe is retired, he is scratching around thinking, ‘What can I say about Carl Froch this week?’  He could be getting itchy feet but let's be honest, he's going to struggle to come back and if he does want to come back and fight me he needs to get in line.  I've got Kessler, then Abraham, then I've got Ward or Dirrell again, a queue of people lining up to fight me.  But he won't be back, he's finished and it's getting embarrassing for him now,” blasted Froch.

Still, Froch needs to focus on Kessler; the ‘Viking Warrior’ has a point to prove and will relish the chance to wrench Froch’s WBC title from ‘The Cobra’s’ grasp.
