A four-bout card will kick off fight week for what is expected to be boxing’s most watched event of the year.

Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) and Netflix will partner up for a November 11 MVP Fight Week Showcase 2 show topped by 2024 U.S. Olympian and MVP signee Jahmal Harvey, 1-0 (1 KO). The show will air live on MVP and Netflix Sports' YouTube channels beginning at 6:00 p.m. ET/3:00 p.m. PT from Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.

Harvey – a 22-year-old junior lightweight from the greater Washington D.C. area – will face unbeaten Kevin Cervantes, 5-0 (5 KOs), in a scheduled six-round contest.

Also featured on the post-open workout live fight night event is charismatic former WBA 122lbs titlist Nazarena Romero, 14-1-2 (8 KOs), in an eight-round contest against former two-division titlist Mayerlin Rivas, 17-6-3 (11 KOs). The bout is a rematch to their June 2023 technical draw.

Two more amateur standouts will round out the show in separate contests: Kaipo Gallegos, 10-0-1 (8 KOs), vs. Mexico’s Cristian Perez, 12-3-1 (7 KOs), in a scheduled eight-round lightweight bout; and Keno Marley – a two-time Olympian for Brazil – in his pro debut versus California’s Diarra Davis Jnr, 2-1 (0 KOs), in a scheduled four-round cruiserweight affair.

The full fight-week schedule is below. All pre-fight events will air live at 6:00 p.m. ET from Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and will be free and open to the public:

Tuesday, Nov. 11: MVP Fight Week Showcase 2, featuring open workouts for all the fighters on the November 14 Netflix show as well as a four-fight card that evening.

Wednesday, Nov. 12: Final pre-fight press conference, featuring Paul, 12-1 (7 KOs), Davis, 30-0-1 (28 KOs), the Alycia Baumgardner-Leila Beaudoin undisputed 130lbs championship co-feature and the undercard fighters.

Thursday, Nov. 13: The ceremonial pre-fight weigh-in for all bouts.

The action then shifts to downtown Miami for fight night on November 143. The preliminary undercard will air live on the MVP YouTube channel and Netflix's Tudum, beginning at 4:45 p.m. ET/9:45 p.m. GMT.

“Jake vs. Tank is one of the biggest events in boxing history, and we’ve built an unforgettable fight week to match it, all happening at Hard Rock Hotel in Hollywood, FL,” MVP co-founder and CEO Nakisa Bidarian told BoxingScene. “It kicks off with MVP Fight Week Showcase 2, our new signature series of sanctioned professional fights within our open workouts event, featuring world-class talents like MVP Olympians Jahmal Harvey and Keno Marley, alongside Kaipo Gallegos and Nazarena Romero.

“The week continues with a massive press conference (Wednesday, November 12) and our public weigh-in (Thursday, November 13), with all events free and open to the public. This will be a full week of world-class boxing and star power that set the stage for Friday night’s historic mega-event in Miami.”

MVP launched its Fight Week Showcase series in July, ahead of the historic Katie Taylor-Amanda Serrano trilogy clash at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Two bouts were staged at The Oculus at the World Trade Center on July 8, weaved in between an open workout featuring all of the boxers on the Taylor-Serrano Netflix card.

The tradition is now continued with its blue-chip prospect in his first pro headliner.

Harvey made his pro debut on the August 22 Most Valuable Prospects 14 DAZN show from Caribe Royale in Orlando, Florida. He made quick work of Marcelo Del Aguila, whom he stopped at the end of the 1st round.

The 2024 Olympic quarterfinalist is now prepared to set the tone as anticipation mounts towards Jake vs. Tank.

“It’s great to be back and part of such a huge event,” said Harvey. “I’m looking to deliver an emphatic performance and show the world why I will be the MVP of the sport.”

Cervantes fights in the U.S. for the first time. The 25-year-old from Barranquilla, Colombia fought in his home country for each of his first four bouts before a first round knockout win on September 19 in Guasave, Mexico. He has yet to go past the third round.

Marley makes his anticipated pro debut on his second launch.

The 2020 and 2024 Olympic quarterfinalist – now a third sergeant in the Brazilian Army, who holds a university degree in physical education, and is currently completing a law degree - was due to enter the pro ranks on the June 7 Most Valuable Prospects 13 show, but an untimely injury forced him off the show.

The well-credentialed former amateur stud is now prepared to make a splash in the cruiserweight division.

“I was supposed to debut in June, but the injury set me back for a reason,” said Marley. “It gave me time to recover, refocus, and come back stronger. I’ve already represented my country on the Olympic stage, and now I get to step into the pro ranks during Jake vs Tank fight week.

“The spotlight is huge, and I’m ready to make a statement.”

Las Vegas’ Gallegos enjoys a quick ring turnaround. He is fresh off a second round knockout win on September 19 at Caribe Royale. The venue has hosted five of Gallegos' seven stateside appearances courtesy of Amuary Piedra's Boxlab Promotions, Gallegos' promoter and a longtime partner of MVP in its Most Valuable Prospect series.

Argentina’s Romero fights for the second straight time in the U.S. and is hopeful of a more favorable result. The entertaining junior featherweight saw her WBA title reign in a disputed split decision defeat to Mayelli Flores on May 10 in Kissimmee, Florida.

It was typical of her hard-luck career. Most observers considered Romero unlucky to not get the nod in her June 2023 challenge for Rivas’ WBA 122lbs title. The bout ended due to a clash of heads, and Romero was believed to be well ahead only to leave with a split draw.

She then waited 11 months for her second title shot, only to fight to a disputed draw with Erika Cruz, who was later found to have tested positive for banned substances and was stripped of her title. Romero won the vacant belt in a 10th round knockout of Paulette Cuesta last August in Buenos Aires, before the questionable loss to Flores in May.

Rivas’ draw with Romero set off a three-fight winless streak. She lost her WBA 122lbs title to Cruz in their November 2023 meeting and came up just short in an eight-round, unanimous decision defeat to unbeaten Mikiah Kreps last October 4 in Niagara Falls, New York.
