Look out, former five division world champion Floyd Mayweather (49-0, 26 KOs), who retired from boxing in September 2015, is now looking to conquer the smell game.

Floyd's a big fan of self-pampering ... so it sorta makes sense.

Sources close to Mayweather tell us the plans are only in the beginning stages -- so don't expect TBE to hit the perfume counter anytime soon.

If it does come to fruition, Floyd will join an elite club of athletes with their own signature scents -- including Michael Jordan, David Beckham, Cristiano Ronaldo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Past Mayweather opponent, former welterweight champion Victor Ortiz, also had his own cologne line (VO By Victor Ortiz). Mayweather stopped Ortiz to capture the WBC title in September of 2011.

Mayweather has already made a bundle of money with his TMT clothing line and is now expanding his promotional company, which is home to several top fighters including Gervonta Davis, Andrew Tabiti and Badou Jack.

The pound-for-pound king is still considering the possibility of fighting again - but only for a high profile cross-sports boxing match with UFC superstar Conor McGregor.
