Floyd Mayweather Jr. Gives Take on Sergey Kovalev

During Tuesday's anticipated visit to Moscow , WBA/WBC welterweight and junior middleweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (47-0, 26KOs) discussed a variety of topics.

Mayweather was asked about the upcoming light heavyweight unification between Russia's Sergey Kovalev (25-0-1, 23KOs) and Bernard Hopkins (55-6-2) of Philadelphia, taking place on November 8th at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. 

"I have not seen a single fight with Kovalev, but he has a very good record. In particular, he has a lot of victories by knockouts. That suggests that he's good enough [to be in there] and he will have a chance [to win]."
