WBA middleweight champion Felix Sturm (36-2-1, 15KOs) is very angry with his countryman, Sebastian Zbik (30-1, 10KOs). Sturm offered Zbik a shot at his title, for reportedly good money on December 2 at the SAP-Arena in Germany, but the champion claims the offer was turned down. Sturm, who used to be stablemates with Zbik under Universum Promotions, was shocked. In the past, Zbik has called for the fight several times, but Universum was not satisfied with Sturm's financial proposal.

"Sebastian always wanted to fight me, well here I am, here I stand and I'm waiting. We had a big television network SAT1 [to show the fight], decent money and he had the chance to win the title. Then [they tell me Zbik] is supposed to fight in a gym in Bergedorf. Zbik is a coward," Sturm told Begraner Mirove.
