Sturm Boxing and Agon Sports will join forces for a big show February 15 at the Ratiopharm Arena in Neu-Ulm in southern Germany.
Headlining the event is the now 45-year-old former multiple world (WBA and IBF) champ at middleweight and super middle Felix Sturm (44-6-3), who is about to begin yet another comeback. Who he is fighting has not been announced yet, but Sturm says it will be against a German.
Sturm fought twice in 2023 and won both fights – both times against Sukru Altay – and is 4-1 in his comeback that began in 2020 after a few years out battling the German tax authorities.
Sturm turned pro in 2001 and was, for many years, one of the biggest stars with the “old” Universum Box Promotion and later as his own promoter.
