Unbeaten featherweight Joet Gonzalez is cleared to once again resume his career. The California-based prospect saw his temporary suspension removed by the Nevada State Athletic Commission during their monthly agenda hearing Monday morning in Las Vegas.

Gonzalez was issued a temporary suspension during the commission's agenda hearing in August, due to a positive test result following his July win over David Clark, scoring a 2nd round knockout. The win came on the undercard of Alfonso Gomez' 10-round win over Ed Paredes, on a show that aired live on Fox Sports 1 during Fight Week for Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez' eventual split decision win over Erislandy Lara.

In the time that has passed since the August hearing, Gonzalez—who was not present during Monday's hearing but represented by legal counsel—managed to provide proof of a clean sample. The submitted proof was enough to convince the commission to offer a unanimous vote in favor of lifting the suspension.

On the same show, boxer Ramiro Robles was also handed a temporary suspension, following a failed drug test in the aftermath of his 10-round points loss to rising featherweight prospect Joseph 'Jo Jo' Diaz. Robles' case did not appear on the October agenda; his suspension remains intact.
