WBA number two-ranked cruiserweight and former Euorpean champion Leonard Mosquea, 18-0, returned to action after a brief layoff due to injuries and stopped Colombian Jeison Troncoso, 14-3, in the eighth round. Mosquea thus retained the WBA Ibero-American title.

Super middleweight Jose Luis Navarro Jnr, 17-2, knocked out Colombian Alexi Rivera, 13-6, in the first round to pick up a regional WBA belt.
Navarro Jnr will next defend the EBU silver title against Damian Biacho, 20-1, on February 28 in Spain.
