Sauerland Promotion have a big show in the works for Stockholm (Sweden) with April 15 as the working date. Headlining the show is IBF Intercontinental champion Erik Skoglund (24-0) against South African Ryno Liebenberg (17-2).

Skoglund is near the top with all major bodies but this fight is probably is biggest test to date and it´s a good matchup between a tactical, well schooled boxer and an agressive brawler.

In the chief support Mikaela Lauren (26-3) will defend the WBC female super welterweight title against an opponent to be announced. Lauren just signed a long term deal with Team Sauerland.

In other action super lightweight Anthony Yigit (16-0-1) faces Brit Chris Goodwin (19-2-1), heavyweight Otto Wallin (14-0) is in against American veteran Brian Minto (41-10), super middleweight Oscar Ahlin (13-1) takes on Italian southpaw Alessandro Sinacore (11-1) and Klara ”Swedish Princess" Svensson (15-1) will clash against German Lucia Morelli (19-5).

All fights above are scheduled for more than 12 minutes of boxing and thus according to the Martial Arts legislation need special permission from the Martial Arts Delegation.

French cruiserweight Arsen Goulamirian (14-0) takes on 39-year old Czech veteran Lubos Suda (34-10-1) on March 5 in Corbeil-Essonnes (France) with the vacant WBA International title at stake.  Suda beat Firat Arslan in only his sixth fight in 2003 but lost a rematch in 2011.

In the co-feature, Belgian super welterweight Islam Teffahi (18-5-1) defends the Francophone (a WBC subtitle) crown against Karim Merroudj (15-5-2).

EC Boxing have signed up light heavyweight Sven Fornling (9-0) to a long term contract. Fornling thus joins compatriot heavyweight Adrian Granat (11-0, 10ko). Fornling may make his debut for his new team March 18 in Bucharest where Granat fights Samir Kurtagic.

Fornling have in the past been to the EC Gym in Hamburg for training and sparring with the likes of EBU champ Igor Michalkin and World rated challenger Karo Murat and made a good impression. He will however continue his day job as an accountant in Malmoe.
