US-based Swedish heavyweight Otto Wallin (27-3-0-1) is back in action on November 7 at the Tropicana Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City against an opponent to be announced in a fight scheduled for eight or ten rounds.
Wallin was last seen losing a unanimous decision to Derek Chisora on February 8 in Manchester. Otto was dropped twice and was second best for most of the fight. Otto was a favourite with the betting sites and Chisora looked tailor made for the slick boxing southpaw from Sundsvall, Sweden, but come fight time it was the British veteran who dominated the fight and was a clear winner. The loss ended Wallin's title dreams for now and it will take a few good wins to get him back in the picture.
Otto took a few months off but then relocated from New York to Houston, Texas, and left longtime coach Joey Gamache and is now trained by Ronnie Shields and has been working hard in the gym during the summer. He is managed by Jolene Mizzone.
The event in Atlantic City is promoted by Larry Goldberg and his Boxing Insider Promotions.
