Another fight, another victory for 19-year-old Eduardo Hernandez.

The junior lightweight contender knocked out Raul Centeno in round three late Saturday night at the Domo de la Feria in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico.

Hernandez, who has now won his last 18 bouts, improved to 24-0-3, 20 knockouts. Centeno falls to 20-4-1, 8 KOs.

Despite dealing with a height and reach disadvantage to Centeno, Hernandez was the busier fighter who landed the more-telling blows during the first two rounds.

Midway through the third round, Hernandez hurt Centeno with a right cross to the head. Hernandez landed a barrage of punches, eventually dropping Centeno to the canvas. Referee Jose Guadalupe Garcia counted Centeno out at 1:41.

Centeno, who resides in Santa Maria, Cordoba, Argentina, has now lost three of his last four bouts.

Hernandez is currently ranked number seven by the WBC and is promoted by Promociones del Pueblo.

Flyweight contender Lourdes Juarez (21-2, 3 KOs) won a 10 round unanimous decision over Cecilia Santoscoy Ramirez (2-5, 1 KO).

In junior bantamweight action, Karim Arce (12-0, 4 KOs), the nephew of former multi-division world titleholder Jorge 'El Travieso' Arce, won an eight round decision over Ivan Meneses Flores (19-16-1, 11 KOs).
