Former IBF bantamweight titlist Ebanie Bridges has signed with Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), joining the company's ever-expanding roster of female talent.

Originally a high school math teacher from New South Wales, Australia, Bridges, 9-2 (4 KOs), left the classroom to chase her dream of becoming a world champion boxer in the U.K. – a dream she realized by claiming the IBF belt with a victory over Maria Roman in March 2022.

Bridges successfully defended her crown against Shannon O’Connell later that year before losing on points to Miyo Yoshida in December 2023.

Bridges gave birth to her first child, with former welterweight titleholder Kell Brook, in February, and she is now targeting a comeback later this year as she looks to reclaim her title.

“I’m very excited about signing with MVP; they’ve done amazing things for women’s boxing in such a short time,” said Bridges, who also holds a master’s degree in mathematics and education, speaks three languages, and is both a qualified mechanic and a black belt in karate.

“Proud to be joining a star-studded stable full of champions – current, former and future world champions. I love and appreciate that MVP are truly investing into women’s boxing – for the right reasons. I believe with MVP’s backing, promotion and clever marketing, myself and women’s boxing will truly skyrocket.”

Bridges joins a roster that includes unified featherweight champ Amanda Serrano, undisputed junior lightweight champ Alycia Baumgardner, former boxing and UFC champ Holly Holm, unified junior featherweight champion Ellie Scotney, and interim junior welterweight titlist Chantelle Cameron.

“Ebanie Bridges is a star in every sense of the word,” said Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian, co-founders of Most Valuable Promotions. “She’s a world champion, a proven ticket seller, and a force of personality who brings new audiences into boxing. Now a devoted mother on a mission to reclaim her title, she continues to break boundaries both in and out of the ring. We’re thrilled to welcome another Aussie to the MVP family and can’t wait to help take her career to even greater heights.”
