Professional live boxing returns to Agua Caliente Casino in Rancho Mirage, California on Saturday, September 23 with the 79th edition of World Fighting Championship (WFC), a card headlined by young undefeated Las Vegas sensation Devin Haney along with some of the best local talent.

The show will also feature local up and coming prospects, Javier Padilla and Ryan Caballero, brother of former world champion Randy Caballero

Keliesha West (16-2-3, 4 KO’s) of Moreno Valley, California will take on Kriestie Simmons (8-2, 2 KO’s) of Aurora, Colorado in a six round 128 pound bout..

The very popular Caballero (2-0) of Coachella, California will battle Melfi Monterroso (0-1) in a four round featherweight bout.

Also in the card is local prospect Javier Padilla (3-0-1, 3 KOs) of Rancho Mirage, who is managed and trained by Joel Diaz.

Padilla who will be featured on a four-round featherweight bout had a spectacular knockout of Bacillo Monterroso back in June in this same venue.

WFC has promoted 78 boxing and MMA shows throughout the United States over the past four years and this will be their second boxing show in California this year. Their cards are full of local talent, giving them the opportunity to showcase their talent in front of their hometown fans. There will be a total of six professional and four amateur bouts in the card.
