James DeGale is taking boxing back to the streets - quite literally.
The British super-middleweight champion has been training al fresco ahead of his huge clash with George Groves on May 21, live on Sky Box Office.
And it's drawn big crowds to the home of trainer Jim McDonnell, with fans getting a look at DeGale in action before he takes on bitter rival and Commonwealth champion Groves at the O2 Arena, London, in one of the most anticipated fights for years.
The north Londoner finishes sparring on Thursday, but will continue to do some light training in the streets around McDonnell's home.
Recent outdoor sessions have certainly proved popular with local residents.
"A couple of nights this week, James has completed his training in the fresh air outside my house," said McDonnell.
"He's worked all day in the gym, then in the evening we've done some pad work out in the road.
"People have been hanging out of the windows trying to see what we're doing.
"It's their chance to watch a world class talent up close, and I tell them to remember what they are seeing because James is going to go on and become one of the best fighters in the world.
"He's really popular down here in Essex, and everyone is talking about the fight with Groves on May 21."
