Newly crowned IBF super middleweight champion James DeGale (21-1, 14KOs) is hoping to fight the elite level fighters of his weight division.
DeGale captured IBF gold on Saturday night in Boston with a twelve round unanimous decision win over Andre Dirrell.
A few weeks ago, it was Badou Jack (19-1-1, 12KOs) who capture the WBC super middleweight title with a victory over Andre's brother, Anthony Dirrell.
Jack is now set to make a mandatory defense against the only man who scored a victory over DeGale, his domestic rival George Groves.
If Jack comes out on top, DeGale would relish that fight. He is confident that a fight with Jack would result in a one-sided beating.
"Badou Jack is terrible. I would absolutely batter him. I would batter Badou Jack," DeGale said.
