Former two division world champion David Haye (26-2, 24KOs) is not convinced that his domestic rival, Tyson Fury (21-0, 15KOs), is actually serious about finalizing a deal for a huge £10 million blockbuster in late September or early October in Manchester or London. Haye points to the fact that Fury called out several fighters, and was close to securing those fight opportunities - including paydays against David Price, Wladimir Klitschko and Kubrat Pulev - but for one reason or another he walked away from those fights.
"When Tyson Fury said he wanted to fight David Price...remember that? He said he was going to fight Klitschko, he said he was going to fight Pulev. And now apparently he says that he's going to fight me. Whether or not that happens though...I don't know. I'd like it to. He always seems to say he wants the fights but then he goes in different directions. I want the fight. It's not going to be up to me to make it happen. It's free money and making everybody very, very happy," Haye told I Film London.
