Forget Manny Pacquiao vs. Jessie Vargas. Forget Sergey Kovalev vs. Andre Ward. Forget Vasyl Lomachenko vs. Nicholas Walters.

Garcia is scheduled to return on November 12th in Philadelphia, in a ten round non-title fight against Samuel Vargas. The fight will headline a Premier Boxing Champions tripleheader on Spike TV.

Garcia is a massive favorite to blow past Vargas. Beyond Vargas, Garcia is already set to face WBA welterweight champion Keith Thurman in a highly anticipated unification in March of next year.

Garcia's fight takes place in a very loaded month of boxing.

Manny Pacquiao makes his return after a brief retirement, and challenges WBO welterweight champion Jessie Vargas on November 5th at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. Then on November 19, the one everyone is talking about - Andre Ward will challenge Sergey Kovalev for the WBO/IBF/WBA light heavyweight titles at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. And then on November 26th, Vasyl Lomachenko will defend his WBO super featherweight title against Nicholas Walters at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas.

Garcia wants everyone to watch his fight with an open mind, without allowing themselves to get brainwashed by the promotional banter for the other matchups taking place next month. That's a hard one to swallow, because last year Vargas was picked apart and easily knocked out by Errol Spence in four one-sided rounds.

"It's going to be an epic night for Philadelphia sports, so I'm excited man. It's always been a dream of mine to fight in Philadelphia. Like I said, don't overlook this fight. This might be the best fight in November, and there's a lot of good fights in November. Fights that people have been waiting for years to see, these fights have been built up," Garcia told media members during a Philadelphia press conference to announce the Vargas fight.

"This might be the best fight. Don't let the promoted fights make you overlook [this one] and let the media talk down [this fight], because sometimes the most promoted fights are the most boring."
