Millville, NJ - Junior middleweight contender Thomas “Cornflake” LaManna (28-4-1 10 KOs) will return to the ring on Friday, October 30th at The La Terraza Sports Bar in Agua Prieta, Sonora Mexico. The card is promoted by LaManna’s promotional entity Rising Star Promotions.

LaManna was last seen on August 29th live on FS1 from Los Angeles, CA dropping a controversial ten round unanimous decision to Brian Mendoza.

“It’s crazy that it still haunts me but it’s part of boxing. Wasn’t the first and won't be the last robbery in boxing. I’m not going to cry over spilled milk, put it in the past. I sleep well at night knowing in my heart I won that fight, but I had a huge opportunity after the fight with Mendoza that’s still in arms reach so it’s time to get back on track," LaManna said.

LaManna is 0-2 this year, losing via 5th round stoppage to Jorge Cota in January and the Mendoza decision.

“This year has sucked for many (laughing) but for me it definitely took a toll. Losing two fights, Covid, me and my family being forced out of our home because we couldn’t afford it and much more but I’m still here managing, unfortunately so many more people have it worse than I do and I pray for them everyday. I’ll be back for sure, this is just another dark place I’m used to," LaManna said.

A full line up will be announced in the coming days.
