BoxingScene.com and a small group of reporters caught up with Mexican legend Julio César Chávez Sr. Friday night in Las Vegas. Chávez is in town for tonight's Sergey Kovalev-Andre Ward pay-per-view showdown.

One of the topics discussed was a potential rematch between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao. Chávez doesn't think a rematch would play out differently.

"If they do a Mayweather-Pacquiao rematch, lets see. I don't think it'll be different. I think it will be the same thing," said Chávez .

As for how a fight would have played out between a prime Chávez and Mayweather if they had fight fought in the same era, Chávez didn't hesitate in telling BoxingScene.com, "at 140 pounds I would've f***ed him up."
