WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (46-0-1, 32KOs) wants to prove a point in upcoming fight against Sergio Martinez (49-2-2, 28KOs). The fight is happening on September 15th at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.

There has been a war of words brewing for months. Chavez has promised to end that war in the ring, with a very violent beating. Martinez himself has promised a knockout victory and doesn't want the contest to land in the hands of the judges.

"I'm not worried. On the contrary, all of that talking that he's doing is a sign of the great insecurity inside of him," Chavez said.

"I repeat, I will defeat Martinez. I'm very motivated. I'm going to impose my strength and my style and teach him a lesson. It's going to be a night for Chavez and a night for my beloved Mexico. I'm going to punish him up and down with my power shots. I'm going to land accurate shots until he falls and I won't slow my pace."
