Cecilia Braekhus (23-0, 7 KOs) took time out of her busy training schedule to answer fans’ questions via a live Q&A session on her Facebook page yesterday evening. The pound-for-pound number one, who puts her WBA, WBC & WBO titles on the line against Myriam Lamare (22-3, 10 KOs) on Saturday night, said: ‘’It is great to be able to interact with my fans. I am so grateful for their support, as without them, I would not be where I am today. It really is a pleasure to be able to give something back!’’

Here is a selection of questions the ‘First Lady’ fielded from her loyal fans:

CB: Yes at times in can be quite chaotic, but when it comes to fighting I have tunnel vision. Everything else around me becomes unimportant and I just focus on what I need to do in the ring.

Q: Hello Cecilia! What are you thinking of doing once your boxing career is over? Becoming a trainer or something else entirely?

CB: I have a few ideas. I am not sure about becoming a trainer but I would like to work as a mentor for young girls.

Q: Will you be going for the knockout on Saturday night?

CB: You cannot plan for the knockout but if it comes, it comes.

Q: We will be cheering for you on Saturday night! I would like to know what you are thinking when you enter the ring?

CB: I am thinking about all the training I have done, the journey I have been on to get here and how much I love to fight!

Q: Whose style do you prefer, Mike Tyson or Lennox Lewis?

CB: All boxers have their own style so I can’t say which one I prefer, but I am a big fan of both Tyson and Lewis.

Q: No question, but good luck! I am looking forward to seeing you in action again on Saturday!

CB: Thanks; I am looking forward to getting back into the ring!
