COACHELLA - World champion Jose Luis Castillo will host a night of fights at Spotlight 29 Casino on May 6.
Castillo will not box, but he will sign autographs and "reign supreme" over four live fights, including two with titles on the line as Julio Cesar Chavez and O2 Boxing present "Mexican Revolution" in the Spotlight Showroom at the casino.
Headlining the night is a 12-round bout between Ricardo "Piolo" Castillo and Yober Ortega in an IBF title eliminator.
The event begins at 6 p.m. with an autograph singing by Castillo. The festivities include live mariachi music and an after-fight showing of that night's Oscar De La Hoya vs. Ricardo Mayorga fight on big screens around the arena.
