The airport was a bustle.  Getting a parking was almost impossible.  Carlos “El Indio” Quintana, the new WBO Welterweight Champion (147 Lbs) was expected at the Luis Muñoz Marín Airport of San Juan, Puerto Rico. It seemed that the entire population of Moca, a town located at the western most region of the island, reknown for being the capital of Bobbin Lace in Puerto Rico, was there to welcome home their Southpaw WBO Welterweight Champion Carlos “El Indio” Quintana 25 (KO19), who had snatched away the title from the favorite “The Punisher” Paul Williams 33 (KO24) on February 9th at the Pechanga Resort & Casino at Temecula, CA.

The excitement, the bustle, and the cheering were just a prelude to the caravan of cars returning to Moca, following their Champion with a thrill of honking horns.  From what we hear, the town is planning an all out celebration sometime this week with the Mayor and other dignitaries.  As the plans develop throughout the week, we will keep you posted on the excitement!
