Nottingham banger Carl "The Cobra" Froch (22-0, 18KOs) is ready to cross the ocean and begin his conquest of America. Froch returns to action on March 15 in a WBO super middleweight eliminator against Denis Inkin (32-0, 24KOs) at the Ice Palace in Nottingham.
Froch is targeting all of the big names at 160 and 168, and would like to fight the winner of the Feb. 16 middleweight rematch with between champion Kelly Pavlik and Jermain Taylor. Froch's promoter Mick Hennessy will present an offer to winner of Pavlik-Taylor.
Hennessy would also like to see Froch take a fight with former champion Mikkel Kessler, if the great Dane is able to regain a major title. Despite rumors floating around in the UK, Hennessy said his fighter will not move up to light heavyweight for a possible fight with champion Clinton Woods.
"Carl's future is at super-middleweight," Hennessy told the Nottingham Evening Post.
