Every time you think Nate Campbell (30-5-1, 24 KOs) is distant memory, the "The Galaxxy Warrior" finds a way to put himself back in position for a title shot at the A La Carte Event Pavillion in Tampa, Florida.

In the main event of ESPN's Friday Night Fights, Campbell pounded Ricky Quiles (39-8-3, 8 KOs) on route to an easy, unanimous twelve round decision to win the IBF lightweight eliminator and move one step closer towards a title date.

The scores were 119-106, 120-107 and 119-109. The fight was a one-sided beating, and few thought Quiles would be able to finish the fight. When he took a knee in the final round, it appeared like he was never going to make it out of the round. He found the will to at least finish on his feet.
