MGM Grand, Las Vegas - "Showtime" Shawn Porter (26-1-1, 16KOs) survived a scare in the twelfth and final round, holding on to a dominating lead to win a twelve round unanimous decision over former three division world champion Adrien "The Problem" Broner (30-2, 22KOs). The scores were 114-112, 115-111 and 118-108.

The fight took place at a catch-weight of 144-pounds, and headlined a Premier Boxing Champions card on NBC.

After the fight, Broner riled up the crowd with some of the comments that were made during his post-fight interview.

“I’m OK. My kids are OK and I’m financially OK. It’s OK," Broner said. “Nothing surprised me. At the end of the day, great champions can take a good loss, just like they take a good win. We still can have dinner. I’ll take his girl out and everything.

“I still will fight anybody. It don’t matter. I am a real animal. I came to fight today and I didn’t get the decision. But at the end of the day everyone here will take my autograph and my picture.”
