The Belgian bridgerweight Ryad Merhy will fight Serbia’s Andrej Pesic on June 14 in Louvain La Neuve, Belgium.

Pesic, 15-3-1 (8KOs), lost to Serhiy Radchenko of Ukraine in his past fight, in August 2024. Radchenko proceeded to challenge the WBC bridgerweight titlist Kevin Lerena, and lost.

The 32-year-old Merhy once held the WBA cruiserweight title but conceded it to the French Armenian Arsen Goulamirian in 2018, and later also lost to Lerena. He then moved up to heavyweight and beat France’s Tony Yoka, before being outclassed by Jared Anderson.

Merhy, 33-3 (27KOs), versus the 30-year-old Pesic will be overseen by Alain Vanackere and 12 Rounds Promotion.
