Spanish promoter Rimer Boxe won purse bids for EBU featherweight champ Dennis Ceylan´s mandatory defence against Marc Vidal and set the fight for July 22 in Barcelona but the Dane never signed the contract.
Instead Ceylan goes for a fight July 15 in London against Kid Galahad for the vacant IBF I/C title and he will thus be stripped of the EBU belt (or relinquish it).
Should he lose to Galahad which is likely, well, it will take some time to before Dennis his back to where he is now.
Next up for WBA, WBC, WBO, IBF and IBO female welterweight champ Cecilia Braekhus is some time off after defending her titles against Erica Farias on a rainy night this past weekend in Bergen in front of around 7500 spectators.
After vacation her next fight could take place in the US and there have been some talk of showdowns against Cris Cyborg or Clarissa Shields.

EBU super featherweight champ Guillaume Frenois´ mandatory defence against Juli Giner that was tentatively booked for Barcelona June 15 after Gallego Prada Promociones won purse bids (they were in fact the only bidders) is now off after Giner pulled out.
Frenois will now make a voluntary defence against tough veteran Rudy Encarnacion June 24 in Pont St Maxence (France).
