Joel Diaz, trainer of WBO welterweight champion Tim Bradley, is picking Manny Pacquiao to defeat Juan Manuel Marquez - if the two fighters ever come together for a fifth fight. Pacquiao suffered back to back losses in 2012, against Bradley and Marquez. He avenged his twelve round controversial decision loss to Bradley last Saturday night, when he dominated in the second half to win a clear unanimous victory. Marquez knocked Pacquiao out in the sixth round of their fourth meeting in the same year as the Bradley loss.

For a fifth fight to happen, Marquez would still have to beat Mike Alvarado on May 17th at the Forum in Los Angeles, California.

"To even talk about a fifth fight, first you would have to expect Marquez is going to beat Mike Alvarado on May 17, which does not seem to be an easy fight, at least it will be more complicated than what many people view as nothing more than a formality for Marquez," Diaz said.

"But if he wins and decides to face Pacquiao a fifth time, I think this time Pacquiao will win, because in the fourth fight Marquez was already hurt and in desperation [he threw that punch] and it knocked Pacquiao out. Pacquiao will win, because he is just as fast but now he is more cautious. Marquez would have a very difficult time against someone who won't make mistakes."
