Former two division champion Timothy Bradley has in recent days called for a fight with WBA/IBO middleweight champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin.

His promoter Bob Arum of Top Rank said the fight should take place at catch-weight of 154-pounds, which is the junior middleweight division. Golovkin has discussed the idea of heading down to junior middleweight, but only for a fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Trainer Joel Diaz, who works the corner of Bradley, is not as enthusiastic about the match.

"I do not think Golovkin will go down to 154-pounds. Also, one should interpret what Bradley means when he says he would be willing to face GGG. What he's showing us with his words, is his mentality as a fighter, not avoiding anyone, to always be ready to fight the best....call it whatever you call it. He fights with everyone. Although, if given the opportunity for a fight Golovkin, if it is worthwhile and a good deal is done - yes we would accept the fight. After all, the worst that could happen is that he wins," Diaz said to ESPN Deportes.
